Subway Route Swap
๐ Weekday MTA Subway F and M trains will permanently swap routes between Manhattan and Queens.
This change will improve reliability for the MTA Subway by reducing track sharing between the E and M lines at Queens Plaza.
Don't worry, the app will be updated to reflect the route change! โ
โ ๏ธ Weekdays approximately 6a.m. to 9:30 p.m.:
F trains will stop between Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av and 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr:
- Queens Plaza
- Court Sq-23 St
- Lexington Av/53 St
- 5 Av/53 St
M trains will stop between 36 St and 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr:
- 21 St-Queensbridge
- Roosevelt Island
- Lexington Av/63 St
- 5 Av/53 St
โ The weekend and night service will remain unchanged.
- F will still stop at 21 St-Queensbridge, Roosevelt Island, Lexington Av/63 St, and 57 St on weekends and during late nights.
- M trains will still run between Delancey St-Essex St and Middle Village-Metropolitan Av on weekends and between Myrtle Av and Middle Village-Metropolitan Av during late nights.
- Take the E train for weekend and late night services to/from Queens Plaza, Court Sq-23 St, Lexington Av/53 St, and 5 Av/53 St.
