Buy bus tickets with Citymapper 🎉

Friends in the West Midlands, you can now buy National Express Bus tickets with Citymapper. Our first region to get this feature!🥇

How does it work?

📱Find the ticket shop

You can find the ticket shop from several places in the app.

1. On Home screen, tap "My Tickets". Easy.
   
    
   
   
   
2. On Trip Details & GO for National Express Bus journeys, tap “Get tickets” or the big green Ticket button

💳 Buy tickets

We’ve got tickets for 1 trip, 1 day, and 1 week. You’ll need a Citymapper account and it’s easy to sign up at checkout if you don’t have one.

🎟️ Use your tickets

Purchased tickets can be found from Home Screen, Trip Details, or GO.

✅ Activate your ticket before boarding

Before taking a bus, “activate” your ticket to make it valid.

Tap Activate Ticket button on a ticket to activate it (even if you’re offline).

🚌 Scan the QR code on the bus

Show the QR code to the red machine on the bus. Bleep bloop ✅
