Scooters have landed in London!
Londoners can now use scooters to get around town!
We're pretty excited that this new mode is finally available in London, adding to the mobility mix and making getting around town even more diverse and flexible.
Where can I scoot?
The first 5 boroughs and areas are:
Ealing
Hammersmith and Fulham
Kensington and Chelsea
Richmond
Canary Wharf
Tower Hamlets is ride-through only for now. More boroughs will open up, with City of London, Westminster, Lambeth, and Southwark already in line seeking participation next.
We have ALL the scooters
We're the only app to integrate all 3 scooter operators - Dott, Lime and TIER!
Each will provide between 60 and 150 scooters in each of the boroughs, with numbers increasing over time.

Compare the prices - we'll do the math
For each trip, we'll automatically calculate the overall price of both unlocking and the length of your ride.
Each operator will charge £1 to unlock a scooter, followed by a per-minute fee of 15p for Dott and Tier, and 16p for Lime.

Make sure you scoot safely
Scooters are new in London and we encourage everyone to ride extra safely and follow the rules:
- You must hold a provisional or full driving license
- You must be 18 years old or over
- If it's your first time riding, the operator will ask you to complete an e-learning course in the apps, explaining how to ride safely
- Helmets are recommended but not mandatory
- Do not ride on the pavement
- Speeds of all scooters will be limited to 12.5mph and the scooters will have their lights on permanently
- Privately owned scooters remain illegal to ride on London's roads
Let's make this scooter trial a success!
It's up to all of us to prove that scooters are a viable way to improve our cities! Please follow the rules, especially when it comes to parking the scooters in the right way and by following the rules of the road.
Enjoy the ride, London!
