Live and let ride – Bond Street Elizabeth Line opens 24 Oct

Ah, Bond Street, we’ve been expecting you 👀

The wait is over – Bond Street’s Lizzie Line platforms will open on Monday 24 Oct!

This is the final station to be opened on the Line Royale as it was delayed by construction issues. On the way, Bond Street gets two new exits: on Davies Street and Hanover Square.

You can now use the app to check how it changes your commute. Simply plan a route and set the departure time for Monday 👇

Phase 2 starts on Sun 6 Nov

Mark your calendars! From Sun 6 Nov, direct services from the west to east of the Elizabeth line will begin 🎉. There will be no need to change trains at Paddington or Liverpool Street National Rail stations. This means faster transfers and less walking within stations 👠

• Direct travel will be possible from Heathrow/Reading to Abbey Wood. You may sometimes need to change trains on the same platform at any station in the central section
  
  
• To get to Heathrow/Reading from Shenfield, you can change trains on the same platform at any station in the central section
  
  
• Some trains may continue to terminate at Paddington and Liverpool Street National Rail stations

Additionally, the Elizabeth line will start running on Sundays 😍

There will be more trains running per hour, with services extending after 11pm 🍸 We’ll take it Station, not stirred…
